Dim lights
On the horizon
Birds haven’t woken up
Sound asleep
Rain outside
Pouring down like water
Frosted eyes
Sticking to the lids
And nowhere near expulsion
“We were all,
we were blown away”
First, hazy shade
Second, numerous drops
The roof was covered
In rhythm of tears
Falling from
The sky above
Down near the trees
The grass and the sea
but somewhere near perfection
“So they were all,
all nearly blown away”
